Form Drawing Guide for Educators

$25.00

This traditional Waldorf art form called Form Drawing, is great preparation for learning early cursive writing and for geometry in the upper grades.

We value this lesson because it helps students identify straight and curved lines that are present everywhere in the natural world. This is a great foundational practice for starting to learn cursive, and it's done with an imaginative picture.

Presented by Christina Sbarra and Celine Jebsen, this fun and dynamic lesson includes body movements and other exercises that help the student embody the concept of forms. The process of teaching Form Drawing takes place over a series of days. This Guide indicates the days that each part is introduced.
